Dr Jenny Porritt | Practitioner Psychologist

Psychological Assessment, Therapeutic Support and Workplace Wellbeing

Psychological difficulties can affect individuals, teams and organisations in many different ways. Whether you are looking for support with anxiety, life challenges, workplace wellbeing or understanding patterns of behaviour, you will receive compassionate, evidence-based psychological support tailored to your needs.

For individuals, support is available to help you better understand your experiences, develop practical strategies and improve your mental and physical wellbeing. If you are exploring whether ADHD may be contributing to your experiences, a comprehensive Adult ADHD Assessment can provide greater clarity, understanding and personalised recommendations.

For organisations, psychological consultancy, workplace wellbeing support and training are designed to promote healthier, more inclusive workplaces and improve staff wellbeing through evidence-based approaches.

For individuals: Support for your health and wellbeing

Sun setting over ocean horizon with rocky coastline and pine trees

Individual therapy: Perhaps you’ve spent years feeling like you’re coping on the outside while feeling overwhelmed inside. Maybe you’re exhausted from masking, overthinking, pushing yourself too hard, or wondering why life seems harder than it appears for others. You may be experiencing anxiety, burnout, ADHD traits, or challenges adjusting to changes in your physical health. I offer a warm, neuro-affirming approach to help you understand yourself, build confidence, and find practical ways forward. As a Health Psychologist, I support adults in understanding the connection between mental and physical wellbeing.

A smooth, pale wooden desk holds an open, forest-green hardback journal, its pages filled with neat, faintly visible writing, beside a clear glass of water with tiny condensation beads. Behind it, a large window reveals soft-focus Sheffield hills with lush trees and misty layers of green. Gentle morning daylight pours in, casting calm, elongated shadows and a warm, reassuring glow across the desk. A small, healthy fern in a matte white pot adds fresh texture. Photographic realism at eye level, with a shallow depth of field that keeps the journal in crisp focus while the landscape blurs, creating a serene, professional atmosphere that suggests mental clarity and grounded reflection.

Fees: £100 per 50-minute session.

Everyone deserves access to supportive, quality care. If your current financial situation makes this standard rate feel unmanageable right now, please reach out to me. I keep a number of dedicated spaces open for concessionary rates, and I am happy to chat through what is manageable for you.

ADHD Assessments: More than a diagnosis

A comprehensive adult ADHD assessment is about so much more than a clinical label, it is about finding the missing pieces to your personal puzzle.

Fees: Only pay for the depth of assessment you need

  • Initial neurodevelopmental assessment | £200
An initial 2hr consultation to explore your experiences, review your history and consider whether a full ADHD assessment is the most appropriate next step. This appointment provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns in depth, identify any additional assessments that may be helpful, and consider appropriate support and recommendations, whether or not you decide to proceed with an ADHD assessment
  • Full Diagnostic Assessment & Report | £1000
A comprehensive NICE-compliant evaluation including a 3hr therapeutic assessment session, a detailed written report, and personalized psychological insights for your journey ahead.

Following your assessment, you will receive a comprehensive report and be invited to a dedicated therapeutic feedback session. Rather than simply receiving a report, we will meet to discuss the findings together, explore how they relate to your experiences, and identify practical strategies and reasonable adjustments that may support you at work, in education and in everyday life.

My practice focuses entirely on the diagnostic and psychological side of ADHD rather than prescribing medication. It is designed specifically for individuals who want to step out of survival mode and are looking for:

  • Deeper Self-Understanding: Discover exactly how you process information so you can build practical everyday strategies that work with your brain.
  • Workplace/University Support: Get the official diagnostic evidence needed to request workplace adjustments or university accommodations.
